i know many of you might be unhappy
about the talk/scolding i gave today after cca
i hope that you guys can understand the message im trying to tell
and know the importance of your attitude towards co
xyz's attitude towards practices had turn from bad to worse
more and more people not coming for practices without valid reason
more and more late comers
and the whole section becoming overy slacky nowadays
xyz is the biggest section is chinese orchestra
however! thats not a reason for us
to have the most number of late comers where more than half of you are late
and the most number of poners too
this morning at 8 am sharp,
everyone was already seated and half of our section have'nt arrive yet
im disappointed.
many of you might think
im just having some pms and freaking out over small matters
however..
do you really think these kind of stuff is really acceptable?
syf is coming soon
do you think xyz's standard is ready for it?
theres still a long way to go
and this kind of sucky attitude wont get you very far
i know its kind of irritating for people to nag and nag over these kind of stuff
which you dont really much give a damn about
but.. why would i do that if you've done nothing wrong at all?
i dont like this too
but why do i have to do it?
for syf
for our GWH
seniors put so much hope in us,
that we can get back/ snatch back our GWH glory
but with this attitude..
can we? can you?
many came to complain to me
this about xyz
that about xyz..
how do you think i feel?
bochap? dont care? happy? angry? or dont feel anything?
come on~
i know xyz is ABIT big and....
i dont know how this reason is gonna link with whatever you do
.. you wont feel pleasant when people always complain to you like that
i dont have the capability to make sure that
everyone's on time, come for cca and practicing during practices
its impossible for me to give 28 people morning call every morning
or ask people to fetch you from your house
but im sure that you are capable of taking care about your own responsibility
to make sure you come for every practice on time
and to improve your standards every practices
there are many reasons why im especially disappointed in the year 1s
as juniors,
what do you see us as?
if you really paid us respect,
would you even dare to miss practices
to leave earlier than the dismissal time
to talk through your whole sectional practices
when you dont even know how to play a single song?
when you dont even know a simple g-major scale?
do you really think that this is normal or acceptable?
your erhu skills now totally tells alot about your attitude towards co
or rather, the other way round,
your attitude tells alot about your erhu skills
you might be thinking
#why is this crazy woman talking to us like that,
who are you to criticize us like that#
however,
if me as an sl cannot tell you your mistakes,
then who's gonna wake you up?
this year sec one batch
you, you guys,
are gonna be the year 4 batch for the 2013 syf
you are going to lead the whole xyz
you are going to be seniors next year
if your attitude continues like this..
i really wonder how are you going to lead your juniors next time?
i know most of you are working hard and cooperating with me
what about the rest?
so what if the most of your skills/attitude are very well
the little couple of you out there,
if you continue the attitude like this,
you are still gonna pull the whole section down
future leaders, please wake up,please
i can do alot of stuffs to try and improve your skills..
asking for extra practices,
sending the tracks to people
but thats not the key
everything depends on each and everyone of you
ok im gonna stop there in case any of you get irritated
and so busy in being angry with me that you forgot about the main points of this post
this is the summary of whatever i've said this afternoon
for people who were overseas,
please read through carefully
and for those who were there,
please read it through again
to prevent miscommunications
and in case you claim that you didnt really hear what i said
1. late comers issue
ive talk about this alot of times so im just gonna talk abit about it
our dear member just set a highest record orbeing late an hour
#dear member, im glad that you are guilty, but please dont do that again#
time is not on our side
please.. if you really nid morning call,
you can tell me,
or ask your friends
or set up 5 alarms with your phone
sleep earlier wake earlier
2. poners
idk why
but most of our poners are year 1 guys
im not gonna talk much about this also..
however i hope the year 1 guys can go do something bout your attitude
#like you're going to read this in the first place~#
##i know that theres an amos fan club out there
so amos, as a idol,
i hope you can set a good example
and not pon cca just to purchase a new releases computer game##
3. scores without names
it is clear that everyone must write their name
on each and every single piece of your scores
but name of you still dont do that which leads to the 4th point
i hope i dnt have to repeat this..
be proud of your name please

4.mishandling of instruments and scores/ leaving them unattendant
this is a major issue
i know an er hu is generally cheaper than other instruments in co
however,
please stll treat your intruments with care
there are many of you who love to leave your intruments lying around
and then just walk off like that
eh please
if you really that rich and can pay for like 10 erhus
please donate to xyz fund instead and then
perhaps we can have a 10 day 9 night chalet or something
4. year 1 leaving early
ahh i know
the intructor always leave earlier/ on time
however, after she left,
you guys still have to stay in class to practice until the whole section is released
i've been in her lessons before
and i dont believe that you can actually practice much while she's teaching
you are suppose to stay and practive your songs/pieces
until the sl tells you to go
i thin i made it clear enough
5. do not take xian without permission/ lost tuner
you can borrow song xiang and tuner to get your instruments ready idc
but please return everything to the xyz box
both our tuners are gone idk how
probably eaten by some of you
and this is very serious
a tuner cause average around 50 bucks
two tuners means 100 bucks
do you have the money to pay for it?
NO
and do not take xian without permission as we need to record down
hence tell me before hand dnt go mess up the box
6. inform me whenever you cant make if for practices/ leaving early due to sickness/ going overseas and will be missing practices
this is kind of common sense,
to make my life easier,
and to make your life better
please i dont want to repeat myself again
some of you just leave like that and i dont even know why you are missing
attending parties and chalets is obviously an invalid reason
7. slacking n not practicing during practices
be clear of what is your main purpose of coming back for practices
you can do whatever stuff you want during break
but please focus on practicing
its impossible for you to play er hu continuously for 4 hours i know i know
i dont really care if you talk, joke, laugh, sms during practices
what i care about is that
you dont even bother to take your intruments to practice!
seems that xyz sectionals had turned into a chit chat session
please if you dont even respect yourself like that,
at least respect the intructors
this habit had gradually reduced which is a good sign..
however,
the few of you please take note of this issue
especially when your skills isnt really very good
this is about all i have to say

please dont let this super long post gone down to waste

you've put in effort to read it,
please put in effort to do something about everything mentioned above too
no point reading this and treating it like a story book
i dont want to see anymore of this shit happening in xyz again

this is so remind you to take off your watch and hand band and blah during practices and performances
and may i request people to give more detailed replies?
